Tide Times in Wells-next-the-Sea

While enjoying the amenities of Six and the beautiful sandy beach, it’s important to be aware of the tide times to ensure your safety. We've included a widget linking directly to the Norfolk Tides website for easy access to the tide times. You'll also find a hard copy of these times in the hut, along with other useful information for a pleasant and safe stay.

To avoid being cut off by the tide, make sure to return to the dry sand or land at least four hours before the high tide at Wells Bar.

During the summer, the Wells Beach siren sounds approximately four hours before high tide as a reminder. If you hear the siren, please head back to the main part of the beach immediately. If you're thinking of taking a stroll along the coast beyond Wells, please do check the local tide times first in that area. High tides can be deceptive; they start slow but can come in quickly once they get going.

Please note: Meet You at Six is not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from the use of the tide times. For further information, please review the Terms & Conditions on the Norfolk Tides website.

Below are some photos from Beach Hut Six showcasing both high and low tides to help you recognise the difference. Remember, safety first!
