(“Ts & Cs”) of Hiring
Beach Hut Six
To proceed with booking Beach Hut Six, please read carefully and follow the rules below.
1. Please note that the person making and paying for the booking (the “hirer”) shall be responsible for both the hiring of the hut and the behaviour of their guests. The hirer will need to ensure that their guests read, agree and comply with these Ts & Cs. Adults - parents and/or guardians - will need to supervise and ensure that children and teenagers understand and abide by the hut rules.
2. All the huts at Wells Beach are for day hires only, including Beach Hut Six. Overnight stays are not permitted at the huts.
3. The maximum number of guests at any time is 6 people, which includes children and infants. This is to ensure that there is no overcrowding, and that guests at the neighbouring huts are able to enjoy their own space.
4. Check-in time is from 09:30 onwards. Checkout time is by 19:00. Please bring a torch, if you plan to stay later, especially during the autumn months. Please note that the Wells Beach Car Park closes overnight and the closing times may differ during the week and weekend. Please click here for car park information
5. Beach Hut Six is located in the dog free zone of Wells Beach and near the Wells Beach Car Park and Wells-next-the-Sea Beach Café. Parking charges are not included in the booking of the hut, but are an additional cost to be paid for separately by the hirer and guests as applicable. 11. The use of loudspeakers, radios, portable stereos of any kind is not permitted at Beach Hut Six.
12. The Management and owners of the hut (“Beach Hut Six Management”) reserve the right to ask the hirer and guests to leave the hut if their behaviour is deemed to be unreasonably disruptive, anti-social, illegal or impairing the enjoyment and comfort of other hut users. In such a case, no compensation or reimbursement will be offered to the hirer or guests.
13. Please leave the hut as you found it. A broom and dustpan and cleaning products will be provided for tidying up the inside of the hut and washing any used utensils and crockery. Rubbish and recycling must be removed by the hirer when leaving the hut and disposed of properly in bins. The nearest bin and recycling are located by the Wells-next-the-Sea Beach Café.
14. Please inform us if there is any damage or breakages as soon as possible, so that we have time to prepare the hut for the next guests. If there is damage or breakages or the hut is found to be in an unreasonable state after a hire, we reserve the right to claim replacement, repair or specialist cleaning costs.
15. All beach equipment and canvas windbreaks must be removed from the beach area and stored back in the hut before departure. Please place the bistro set inside the hut after usage.
